Seasonally speaking of course, it is not fall. But don't tell us Chicago types...I was riding my bike home last night after spinning and the temp was 45 degrees!! YUCK...so with this mix, I am taking my cue from the weather and aiming for heavily progressive. That is, ahead of the charts, sharp and thumping.

SERIOUSLY...where are the summer hooks?

Really, what?...maybe only 2 or 3 songs in the pop top 10 are actually worthy of being top 10 hits, if that! Luv Gaga, Luv Black Eyed Peas, Luv Kingston - but they are all getting old quick. I do have to admit I am liking the Cobra Starship too.

But dance radio now, especially the ladies, are really hooking us up this summer. Veterans and newbies alike are keeping it fresh week to week. I am spending way too much money on I-Tunes and it seems like everytime I sit down at my laptop, I am listening to new tracks and promos.
